We are Baptist by conviction, and Christian first.

The gospel

Christ calls sinners out of sin and self and into fellowship with himself. Salvation is the unspeakably kind act of God granting faith, which is then exercised. It is not the result of our works.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.” (Ephesians 2:8–9)

Baptism

Baptism is the first public act of obedience for a disciple of Jesus Christ. We baptize believers. We do not baptize infants, because we do not find that practice in the Scriptures. Those who are baptized are those who have first become disciples.

The gathered church

The church is a people called by the Word, not a vendor of religious goods. We preach Christ. We practice the ordinances he gave. We seek to live as a fellowship under his care.
