Lord’s Day worship in downtown Springfield. The Bible is open. So is the door.

If you walk in this Sunday

People start showing up around 9:30. There is coffee and something simple to eat. Come early if you want a conversation before we begin. No one will make you wear a name tag.

Worship starts at 10. We read Scripture, we pray, we sing—hymns and newer songs together. Then the sermon. It is usually thirty-five to forty-five minutes. We work through a text. We are not building a platform for a personality.

Children belong in the room. They will not be silent. We do not expect them to be.

If you sit near the back and leave during the last song, that is all right. If you stay and ask a question, someone will answer it.

Why we gather

We are a small Baptist church in Springfield. We meet to hear the Scriptures, to sing, to pray, and to live as people who have been shown mercy.

We care about your week. We will not pretend we can save it. We point you to Jesus Christ, crucified, risen, and sufficient to save your soul from sin.
